The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) are strict regulations that manufacturers of composite wood products must follow while selling their products in the United States. CARB (California Air Resources Board) imposed the Airborne Toxic Control Measure to Reduce Formaldehyde Emissions from Composite Wood Products (ATCM) section 93120 – 93120.12 in 2008, and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published Formaldehyde Standards from Composite Wood Products 40 CFR 770 under Title VI of the US Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA Title VI) in 2016, which went into effect in 2018.

This certification reduce risk and assure your customers that your composite wood products fully comply with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM 93120) and the EPA Formaldehyde Rule for formaldehyde emissions.
