Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a world’s oldest and largest forest certification system with millions of hectares of certified forest globally. FSC certification is voluntary, market-based system in which forests, companies anyway associated to timber / paper related products are audited against principles and criteria. The performance-based standards encompass environmental, social and economic values, and are framed to ensure that the forests are managed sustainably.

FSC ensures traceability of products from the forests to the end point of sale. Products that are manufactured from responsibly harvested forests are identified with the FSC logo, which is considered the “one of the best standard” of forest certification by major environmental groups.

Forest management certification is an independent assessment that ensures your forest management practices are in compliance with the internationally recognized standards of the FSC.
